Associate Professor of Political Science. He has a B.A. in Political Science (Universidad de Buenos Aires), and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science (Rice University).

His main agenda is centered on legislative studies, with a specific emphasis on poitical careers, ambition, gender, and links between citizens and representatives. His work has covered the congresses of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, México, Colombia, and Paraguay, and also the local  legislatures of the states of Texas the City of Buenos Aires, among others. He has also written scholarly work on political institutions, electoral rules, federalism and subnational politics. His work was published in academic Journals such as Journal of Politics, Comparative Political Studies, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Journal of Theoretical Politics and  Journal of Legislative Studies. He was awarded by the Southwerstern Political Science Association, and the Political Institutions Section of Latin American Studies Association. Alongside, he was the recipient of John W. Gardner Award for the best Dissertation in Social Sciences at Rice University.

He has worked as a consultant in projects for institutional reforms sponsored by IDB and UNDP. He has taught undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral classes at the Universities of Buenos Aires, Torcuato Di Tella, Flacso (México) and New Mexico, centered on institutional and legislative topics. He is also a Nivel 1 member of the National Scientific System of Mexico.
