He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Master Degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature and Theater theater, and a PhD in Spanish and Latin Americana Literatures, both from UNED, whith a two years research stay at El Colegio de México. Currently, he is a professor of Estrategias de Comunicación Escrita and Investigación y Redacción Jurídica at ITAM and collaborates as a researcher at Seminario de Tradiciones Populares of El Colegio de México. Since January 2016, he is a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores in the category of “Candidate”. He is particularly interested in His themes of interest are Spanish and Latin American literature, especially Mexican literature, from the 19th to the 21st centuries; he focuses on the incorporation of popular traditions into the literary work, the space and time in the narrative discourse, the literary dialogue between Mexico and Spain, the narrative about the Mexican Revolution, and the confluences between the legal and literature fields. He has participated in national and international conferences and congresses, and he has published academic and informative articles in different journals and editorials, for example, el Fondo de Cultura Económica, El Colegio de México, la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México y la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. He has also worked as a Copy Editor an editor for UNAM, Trillas and Profeco.
