138311 - Ana Paulina Figueroa Gutiérrez

Ana Paulina Figueroa is an associate professor in the Academic Department of Mathematics, ITAM. She graduated in mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences, UNAM (2004) and undertook her PhD at the Institute of Mathematics, UNAM (2004-2009). Her research interests include combinatorics, graph theory and mathematical educational theory. She is a member of the National System of Researchers since 2010.

Jorge’s research interests are focused on macroeconomics and labor economics. Most of his work relates to understanding how cross country differences in labor market institutions are related to cross country differences in labor supply.  Right now, his research agenda is focused on understanding how the duality of social protection in Latin America is related to the large share of the population that does not contribute to social security in these countries.

Claudia Gómez Wulschner was born in Mexico City. She got a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and an MS and a PhD in Mathematics from Washington State University.

Since 2000 she has been a full time professor at the Academic Department of Mathematics at ITAM. She is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI).

These structures are not only fascinating from an aesthetic point of view, but also because they specifically occur as a result of biological, chemical and physical processes. These might be the main reasons I pursued an undergraduate degree on Physics and a master’s degree on Applied Mathematics in the School of Sciences, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Dr. Amrita Bahri, who is currently an Assistant Professor of Law at ITAM University, is an international trade law scholar with the experience of practice, teaching and research. She is the Deputy Director for the Centre of International Economic Law at ITAM. She has a PhD in International Trade Law from University of Birmingham and an LLM in International Business Law from London School of Economics.

33995 - Vidal Fernando Romero León

Vidal Romero holds a BA in Law from the Universidad de Guadalajara, a Master’s degree in Public Policy from ITAM, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Stanford University. He is member of Mexico’s National Researchers System, Level 2. He is associated researcher at the Program on Poverty and Governance at Stanford University, and affiliated faculty at the Center on Energy and Natural Resources at ITAM. He was Tinker visiting at Stanford University.
