136314 - Javier Martínez Villarroya

He is a Full-time Professor in the Department of Writing and Languages of the ITAM. He has a degree on Philosophy, a degree on History and a Ph. D. on Philosophy (all of them by the Universitat de Barcelona). Moreover, he did postgraduate studies on Anthropology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. In his career he has won several scholarships for research and cultural promotion, with which he has traveled to Athens, Hong Kong and Mexico.

821 - Claudia Albarrán Ampudia

She is a renowned essayist and literary critic, as well as a specialist in Mexican contemporary literature and academic writing related topics. She has a Masters Degree in Literature by El Colegio de México and a Doctorate in Literature by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She’s the author of Luna menguante. Vida y obra de Inés Arredondo (2000), and coauthor of several books, such as Diccionario de Literatura Mexicana.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Translation with a specialization in French from Universidad Intercontinental. She also has a Master of Arts in Humanities. In addition, she is completing a second Master’s degree in History of México from Universidad Autónoma de México (UNAM). She has a teaching certificate in French, with a specialization in grammatical analysis, morphosyntax and grammar of Spanish, as well as several certificates in Humanities.

156595 - María Gabriela Mazzuchino

She has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature, with a teaching specialization, from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina, where she worked for several years as a full-time professor of Spanish grammar and linguistics. She has a Master of Arts degree in Hispanic philology from the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) in Spain and a second master’s degree in Spanish language from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

139383 - Víctor Alberto Villavicencio Navarro

Víctor Alberto Villavicencio Navarro has a BA, MA, and a PhD in History by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He also has a MA in History of the Hispanic World by the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas de Madrid, Spain.

Between 2015 and 2018, he served as Head of the Deparment of History and Social Sciences at the UNAM’s Centro de Enseñanza para Extranjeros, where he coordinated and organized several courses, seminars, and diploma courses on Mexican History and Culture.

169238 - Sandra Lorena Villalobos Orozco

Sandra Lorena Villalobos Orozco has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Eastern Michigan University, with a minor in Anthropology. She also has a Master of Arts degree in Spanish from the same institution. After graduating, she worked as a lecturer at Eastern Michigan, teaching Spanish as a second language at the beginning and intermediate level. Her main interests are sociolinguistics, Spanish language acquisition for second language and heritage learners, academic writing, and the design of written and oral Spanish proficiency tests.

Within an academic world governed by specialization, Carlos McCadden has preferred to live the integration and synthesis of different knowledges. From 1974 to 1982 he studied simultaneously the Licentiate Degrees in Economics and Social Sciences at the ITAM, and the Licentiate Degree in Philosophy at the Universidad Iberoamericana. During the academic year 1981-82 he taught at the Academic Departments of General Studies and Economics at ITAM.
